The monument to Eduards Veidenbaums was unveiled in Liepa Cemetery on October 1, 1967, in honor of E. Veidenbaum’s 100th birthday. The authors of the monument are sculptor Inta Kamara and architect Gunars Lusis-Grinbergs. The monument is made of Staburags rock block debris. Alongside Eduard Veidenbaum also some of his family members are buried – his mother and father, brother Karlis, sister Karline, her daughter Biruta Leite and Biruta’s son Janis.
